CODE COMPLIANCE OFFICER

(PARKING)

JOB SUMMARY

The Code Compliance Officer (Parking) patrols and inspects public parking areas, meters, and designated parking zones to identify and address parking violations. This position regularly interacts with residents and visitors and plays an important role in supporting parking operations throughout the City.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

Responsibilities include patrolling and inspecting public parking areas, issuing parking citations, performing parking meter maintenance, and assisting with other related duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must possess a valid driver's license
• Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays
• Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position, including walking long distances in extreme heat and varying weather conditions
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills are required

SCHEDULE

This is a permanent part-time position working three 8-hour shifts per week, not to exceed 24 hours per week.

PAY

$15.00 per hour
