Asher Adams Hotel in Salt Lake City, housed in the Union Pacific Depot, is seeking a friendly Server to join our dining team. You will greet guests, guide menu choices, take orders, and ensure a timely, high‑quality service that reflects our historic charm and modern luxury.

In a fast‑paced setting you will collaborate with kitchen and bar staff, handle payments, and help deliver memorable guest experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Fluent reading, writing and speaking of English.
• Ability to stand for long periods and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm, friendly demeanor and create a positive first impression.
• Guide guests through the menu, provide recommendations and answer questions.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay to kitchen and bar.
• Serve food and beverages promptly with great presentation.
• Anticipate guest needs and provide personalized service.

Qualifications

• Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit, where applicable


• High school diploma or equivalent required


• Six months to one year serving experience preferred


• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment


• Read, write and speak English fluently


• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask


• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays


• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards


• Ability to stand for long periods of time


• Meet minimum age requirement of jurisdiction
