Job summary
GTS is seeking an experienced COAX Splicer to work on field installations in Ocala, FL. The role involves splicing coaxial cables from NODE to line endpoints, performing activations and rebalancing, and troubleshooting network issues to maintain optimal performance.
The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of high split COAX splicing experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to safely operate in an HFC environment. Compensation ranges from $23–$32 per hour DOE.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License during the term of employment.
- Minimum of 1 year or more of High Split COAX splicing experience preferred.
- Experience with activations and rebalancing and troubleshooting.
- Dependable, experienced, knowledgeable, and able to safely work in an HFC Network Environment.
Responsibilities
- Splice coaxial cables from the NODE to the end of lines.
- Perform activations and rebalancing as needed and troubleshoot issues in the field.
- Replace/upgrade coaxial equipment across the network as required.

Experienced COAX Splicers will also be responsible for activations and rebalancing and troubleshooting if needed. In addition the COAX Splicer is responsible for replacement/upgrade of all coaxial equipment from the NODE to the end of lines.

Compensation - Production or fallback rate: $23-$32/hour D.O.E.
