Job summary

Epic Piping is seeking a Coatings Inspector to join our Quality team in Louisiana. You will ensure safety compliance and verify paint application quality across surfaces, using electronic tools to measure thickness, color, viscosity, and assess corrosion.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 5-10 years in commercial/industrial painting, and prefer NACE Level 1-3 certification. Epic offers strong training, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for growth.

• NACE Certification (Level 1,2,3) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety and environment guidelines, policies, and regulations.
• Provide assurance of the quality of the paint application.

• Utilize electronic tools to check paint thickness, color, viscosity, and check and evaluate for corrosion.
• Report all surface defects at the prep state, primary coat, intermediate coat, and final finish.
• Check and monitor all painting related works and ensure all final products meet in accordance with company procedure and client requirement.

What You’ll Do

What You’ll Need

• Education: High School Diploma or GED; preferred
• Experience: 5-10 Years' Experience in Commercial/Industrial Painting
• Computer Skills: None specifically required
• Certification/Licenses: NACE Certification (Level 1,2, or 3) preferred
