Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in polymers and coatings, chemistry, or related field; minimum of two semesters of organic chemistry.
• At least 2+ years of laboratory experience.
• Experience with coatings formulations, characterization, and testing.
• Experience with corrosion protection, corrosion inhibition, and electrochemical testing.
• Familiarity with common coatings laboratory instrumentation.
• Proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, scheduling and data analysis software.
• Strong written and oral communication skills for multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to set priorities and adapt to changing needs from multiple sources.

Responsibilities

• Conduct protective coating formulation, testing, and corrosion evaluation.
• Formulate and test coatings for customer trials and R&D projects.
• Maintain a safe and clean lab environment per safety protocols.
• Participate in scientific meetings.
• Generate, document, and report data and technical progress to internal and external stakeholders.
