Job summary

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, and preferred certification in tool and cutter grinding. Candidates should exhibit strong attention to detail, organization, math skills, and effective communication within a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Certification in tool and cutter grinding is ideal but not required.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office is expected; Pivot Panel Software and Navision are a plus but not required.
• Excellent attention to detail is required.
• Strong organizational skills are required.
• Strong math skills to perform day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

• Check all job packets to ensure correct coating is applied to tools.
• Clean tools using the established process with the V80 cleaning system.
• Make sure the carousel is loaded with proper sized tools and the proper length of cut is showing out of the holder.
• Prepare coating and set the parameters for coating proper Microns on micro tools.
• Tube and label tools for shipping.
• Must maintain the cleanliness and organization of the cleaning and coating area.
• Other duties as assigned.
