Job summary

Sl America Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician to provide technical support for new project part design, troubleshoot production problems, and assist with start-ups in the metalizing area. You will perform preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance, change fixtures, maintain shift documentation, and ensure compliance with quality and environmental standards.

A minimum of 1 year in a light industrial setting is required, with knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a light industrial manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Complete the shift start-up checklist.
• Check carriers for defects.
• Change fixtures as production needs.
• Provide support to preproduction areas.
• Make electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic repairs to machines.
• Fill out shift reports.
• Perform preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance for machines in the metalizing area.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on carriers or fixtures.
• Respond to urgent issues due to substances in the area.
• Maintain and file documentation generated from changes or requirements.

To provide technical support with new project part design, troubleshoot production problems, debug
production metalizing & masking start-ups

Responsibilities

1) Complete the checklist at the start of the shift
2) Check the carriers for defects
3) Change fixtures, based on the production need
4) Provide support to the preproduction areas
5) Make electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic repairs to the machines
6) Fill-out shift reports
7) Preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance for the machines in the metalizing area
8) Preventive and corrective maintenance to the carriers or fixtures
9) Respond to any urgent issue due to substances in the area
10) File and maintain the documentation generated as
11) Comply with the quality and environment standards procedures and instructions (those applicable)
12) All those activities generated as a result of changes, requirements and/or improvement in the process of
the applicable area
