Job summary

Exyte is seeking an entry-level candidate for a production prep position. Responsibilities include inspecting parts for defects, cleaning surfaces, and preparing parts for coating using an overhead trolley system. You will work under the guidance of a Supervisor/lead and must follow health, safety, and environmental procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Entry-level position with training provided.
• Ability to stand for up to 10 hrs daily.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Position requires the ability to make independent decisions.
• Gloves need to be worn while performing all tasks in the department.
• PPE required in production areas for safety.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect parts received into Prep Dept. for defects.
• Clean & dry the parts interior & exterior surfaces.
• Communicate with the Supervisor/lead person about discrepancies.
• Prepare parts for coating by placing them on the overhead trolley hanger system.
• Comply with health, safety (including OSHA), and environmental procedures.
• Perform other assignments per the Supervisor/lead person’s direction.
