Job summary

Alliance Industrial Solutions is hiring a Coating Machine Operator in Concord, NC to operate coating equipment and produce coated ink ribbon to exact specifications. This full-time position uses a 2-2-3 rotating schedule with day (6:00 a.m.–6:15 p.m.) and night shifts (6:00 p.m.–6:15 a.m.), paying $18 per hour day shift and $19 per hour night shift.

Candidates must pass a respirator test and physical exam, have at least 1 year of manufacturing experience, and be able to read gauges and use

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Chemical mixing or blending experience preferred.
• Ability to pass physical exam and respirator test.
• Ability to read and use instruments such as micrometers and gauges.

Responsibilities

• Operate coating machines per SOPs and safety rules.
• Produce correctly coated ink ribbon per specs.
• Perform product changeovers including roll exchanges and doctor blade exchanges.
• Monitor ink supply and coating systems.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment and process issues.
• Perform quality inspections and testing.
• Maintain safe, clean work area.
• Support maintenance activities and coordinate with staff.
• Identify potential causes of defective product and production inefficiencies.
• Participate in productivity improvement and cost-reduction activities.
• Operate test equipment, gauges and panels.
• Maintain organization of the work environment.
