Job summary

Duracote Corporation in Ravenna, OH is seeking a reliable Machine Operator to join our Production team. In this role, you will set up machines, monitor coating heads, and work with Quality and R&D to ensure product quality.

You will have a four-day workweek and a team-focused environment, with opportunities to contribute to smooth production and problem-solving on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable work history with a positive attitude.
• Manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Hands-on production/manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines and get them ready for daily production.
• Mix and thin compounds as needed for production runs.
• Fill and monitor the coating head during operation.
• Handle wind-up of material at the back end of the machine.
• Keep a close eye on materials to catch and address defects early.
• Work closely with Production, Quality, and R&D teams.
• Provide daily updates to the Plant Manager and Quality Manager.
• Help oversee machine personnel and keep your work area clean and organized.
• Plan raw materials and prepare for upcoming jobs on your assigned work center.
