Job summary

Crane Currency in Nashua, NH is hiring a Machine Operator (2nd Shift) to safely and efficiently operate the slitter and related processes.

You will monitor equipment, maximize yields, troubleshoot issues, set up orders, and work with a team to maintain quality testing and record keeping.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, industrial math, mechanical aptitude, ability to learn monitoring software, the ability to lift up to 25 lbs, and US citizenship.

• Follow standard operating procedures and guidelines for make-ready, troubleshooting, security, record keeping, and quality testing.
• Perform set changes in a timely fashion utilizing a team approach.

Crane Currency has an immediate position opening for a Machine Operator (2nd Shift). Based out of Nashua, New Hampshire.

This position's primary function is to safely and effectively operate the slitter and all support processes in a manner resulting in a product which meets or exceeds customer requirements while yielding maximum productivity. The Operator is expected to know each process of the Slitting Machine(s) in detail and fully understand each function, and how they interact with each other under normal production conditions.

Knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Industrial math skills.
• Strong mechanical aptitude & dexterity to perform basic repairs to the machinery.
• Ability to learn the computer skills required to control the monitoring functions.
• Ability to read, write, keep neat and accurate records, and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Able to lift up to 25-lbs.
• Must be a United States Citizen with an ability to demonstrate suitability for a Position of Public Trust.

Preferred:

• Previous manufacturing experience highly preferred.
• Previous chemical handling experience a plus.
