Vero Beach Veterinary Hospital seeks a Veterinarian Medical Director to lead an AAHA-accredited team in sunny Florida. The role combines clinical leadership with financial oversight, mentorship, and strategic growth in a coastal practice.

The position offers a robust incentive package including up to $200,000 base salary plus 21%–23% production, a $50K–$75K sign-on bonus, fully paid licensure fees, and a clear path to growth such as ownership or equity opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a DVM and demonstrated leadership skills.
• DVM from an accredited university.
• Active Florida veterinary license in good standing.
• Commitment to the highest standard of veterinary medicine and ethics.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical leadership and ensure the highest quality of care.
• Mentor and manage associate veterinarians.
• Oversee regulatory compliance and veterinary ethics.
• Partner with Hospital Manager to oversee financial performance.
• Prepare operating and capital budgets.
• Guide staff and hospital operations.
• Collaborate with divisional leadership under National Veterinary Associates (NVA).
