CompHealth is seeking a Rheumatologist for a solo, outpatient position on the scenic California coast near Santa Barbara. The role builds a new Rheumatology service line with strong primary care referrals and a work-life balanced environment.

The clinic offers a 100% outpatient focus, a plan with 36/4 or 4-day weeks, and a competitive 1099 contract with 1–3 year terms. Six weeks of PTO, a stable hospital setting, and community amenities complete the opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Build a new Rheumatology service line as a solo physician with strong primary care referrals.
• 100% outpatient practice; physician should be busy from day one.
• 6 weeks PTO and excellent work-life balance.
• 1099 contractor position with standard 1-, 2-, or 3-year contracts.
• Stable California district hospital ranked Top 5 in the state.
• Coastal Southern California location with strong community and good schools.
• Board-certified or board-eligible Rheumatologists welcome, including new fellows.
