Qualifications

• Advanced degree in ecology, conservation sciences, biology, engineering, or related field preferred; 3+ years relevant experience may substitute.
• Experience in coastal resilience or coastal/marine conservation preferred.
• At least 1 year of grants management or related experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
• Experience coordinating across interdepartmental teams and with diverse partners.

Responsibilities

• Support proposal review, contracting, and management of active grants with Grants Administration Team and Program Director.
• Work with program advisory committees to solicit, review, and develop funding recommendations.
• Develop and implement project-specific technical assistance plans with grantees; negotiate milestones and monitor progress.
• Assist in funding source management tasks, including grant applications, amendments, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with funds use, data management, and quality assurance; coordinate with Director and agency liaisons.
• Contribute to communicating grant outcomes and reviewing contractor deliverables.
• Support outreach to potential applicants, grantees, and partners about NFWF funding programs.
