Job summary

Connecticut Coastal OB/GYN, based in New Haven with satellite offices, seeks a BC/BE OB/GYN to join our group of eight obstetricians and five CNMs. New residency graduates welcome.

You will provide full-scope obstetric and gynecologic care at multiple locations, in a recently remodeled Labor & Birth floor and a state-of-the-art surgical center, with access to modern imaging. Qualifications

• Board certified or board eligible; must obtain privileges at affiliated hospital to start.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient obstetrical and gynecologic care
• Outpatient obstetrical and gynecologic care
• Collect accurate medical, obstetrical, and gynecological history
• Perform physical examinations for patients including Pap smear, breast examination, abdominal examination and pelvic examinations
• Maintain an accurate record of all observations made within the patient's chart and complete records in a timely fashion
• Prescribe medications for contraception and insert contraception medical devices
• Admit, manage, and discharge patients as necessary
