Job summary

Ocean Beach Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist with a strong interest or experience in Mammography to join our imaging team on the Washington coast. This role emphasizes patient-centered care, education, and high-quality imaging in a supportive environment.

You will perform screening and diagnostic mammography, work closely with radiologists, and ensure safety and dignity throughout exams. On-call coverage may be required and ongoing education is encouraged.

Qualifications

• ARRT Mammography certification required or willingness to obtain.
• Washington State Radiologic Technologist license in good standing.
• Current CPR certification.
• Commitment to compassionate, patient-focused care.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography exams.
• Educate and support patients through often stressful or emotional appointments.
• Ensure patient comfort, safety, and dignity throughout the exam process.
• Collaborate closely with radiologists and providers to deliver accurate, timely results.
• Maintain compliance with radiation safety and quality standards.
• Prepare and assist patients for mammography and other imaging procedures as assigned.
