Job summary

MaineHealth Medical Group in Rockport, ME is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Dermatologist to join our growing Specialty Skin practice serving Midcoast Maine. The role offers a collaborative team, a robust referral network, and opportunities to build subspecialty interests while expanding access to high-quality dermatology care close to home.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible dermatologist.
• Experience in medical dermatology and dermatologic procedures.
• Ability to collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers and referrals.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient derm care for adult and pediatric patients.
• Diagnose and manage skin, hair, and nail disorders.
• Perform skin cancer screenings and surveillance.
• Conduct office-based procedures (biopsies, excisions, etc.).
• Collaborate with APPs and referring clinicians for coordinated care.
• Support quality improvement and practice development.
• Participate in growth and expansion of dermatology services.
