Bay Shores Peninsula Hotel on Newport Beach's Balboa Peninsula is seeking a Barista to join the Food & Beverage team. You’ll craft coffee and espresso beverages, serve breakfast items, and engage with guests to ensure a welcoming start to their day.

The role requires strong guest service skills, prior barista experience, and the ability to work closely with others in a fast-paced hotel environment. Candidates should be reliable, punctual, and observant of food safety standards.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of hospitality or food & beverage experience preferred.
• Previous barista experience with espresso equipment and recipes required.
• Strong guest service and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Welcome guests with friendly, personalized service and a positive attitude.
• Take orders, answer questions, and make beverage and menu recommendations.
• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso, tea, and other beverages according to recipes and service standards.
• Prepare, stock, and serve small breakfast items.
• Cross-train and support restaurant service as needed.
• Keep the coffee bar, tables, counters, and service areas clean and inviting.
• Maintain espresso machines and brewing equipment.
