Job summary

East Irondequoit Central School District seeks a Varsity Boys Tennis Coach for the spring 2026/27 season. Responsibilities include developing practice plans, game strategy, and player development while upholding district rules and fostering community relations.

Candidates should have prior coaching experience (high school/college preferred) and hold NYS Coaching Certification (or be eligible) plus CPR/AED certification (or be eligible).

Qualifications

• Previous coaching experience (high school or college preferred).
• New York State Coaching Certification (or eligible).
• CPR/AED certification (or eligible).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective practice plans to improve players' volleyball skills and techniques.
• Develop and execute game strategies to maximize the team's performance.
• Identify and nurture the talents of individual players, promoting their growth and potential.
• Foster a positive and supportive team culture emphasizing hard work, discipline, and sportsmanship.
• Identify and recruit talented student-athletes to strengthen the program.
• Collaborate with youth and travel organizations to provide opportunities for student-athlete to improve.
• Ensure adherence to all MCPSAC, NYSPHSAA and East Irondequoit rules and regulations.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with parents, alumni, and the community.
