Job summary

Mountain Pointe High School, part of Tempe Union High School District 213, seeks an Extracurricular Athletics/Activities/ Athletic Coach or Advisor to provide coaching and advisory services for the identified sport or activity, reporting to the Assistant Principal for Athletics or Activities.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, and successful experience working with students, plus adherence to background requirements and NFHSA certification.

Licensing and Certification Requirements

• National Federation of State High Schools Association (NFHSA) certification.
• Valid IVP DPS Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Valid Arizona teacher or Substitute certification.
• Obtain appropriate training and certification to transport students in the white buses. Training must be completed within two weeks of beginning employment.

Appropriate grade and step placement on the Extracurricular Salary Schedule
