LOIS HORNSBY MIDDLE SCHOOL in Williamsburg, Virginia is seeking a Middle School softball Assistant Coach to support the head coach. Duties include supervising coaching tasks, attending staff meetings, and serving as a positive influence to student athletes while helping ensure their safety and reporting injuries to staff.

This is a Substitute position offering a stipend of $866. Citizenship, residency or work visa is required.

Job Description

Themiddle school assistant coach is responsible for working with the head coach. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Responsiblityfor the supervision of their respective coaching duties. These duties will be assigned by the head coach.
• Attend staff meetings called by the principal, athletic director, or head coach.

• Serves as a postive influence to the student athletes
• Ensures the safety of the student athletes and reports injuries to appropriate staff
• All other duties, within reason, assigned by the head coach.
