Job summary

Hernando County School Board is seeking qualified individuals to fill cheerleading coaching roles in Hernando County. Candidates must hold a Florida Educator's Certificate and a 20-hour Sports First Aid course, with a readiness to commit time before and after school.

The position follows the Differentiated Pay for Additional Duty/Supplemental Salary Schedule per the HCTA Contract. Cheerleading coaches of non-competitive teams are not eligible.

• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
• Florida Educator's Certificate in any subject is required.
• First aid training concepts, injury prevention, CPR.
• Willingness to devote time before and after school hours.
