HS Boys 2nd Assistant Track Coach

(Appendix II - 1 per school if 40 or more participants)

CONTRACT LENGTH: Sport Season

STIPEND: $1,945.80

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible to assist in guiding and directing students in a successful track program at the high school level.

IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Head Coach; Athletic Director; School Principal

DUTIES

• Responsible to help organize and plan practices and develop conditioning programs to develop improved strength, skill, and agility.
• Must demonstrate an interest in and support of the entire school program by attending activities.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience as a high school coach in a successful program.
• Must have experience in sprints and jumps.
• Must have good communication skills.
• Must be able to get along with students and parents and have the ability to motivate athletes.
• Experience as a track participant at the intermediate or high school level.
