Job summary

Williamsburg-James City County Schools seeks a second middle school head coach to join our athletic program and share duties with the current coach. Responsibilities include coaching the team, attending staff meetings, and serving as a positive influence on student athletes.

You will help ensure athlete safety and report injuries to appropriate staff, and perform all other duties as assigned. The stipend will be split between the two coaches, supporting a collaborative approach to youth

Qualifications

• Experience coaching middle school athletics preferred.
• Ability to work with students and staff.
• First aid/CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsibilities include coaching duties for the middle school team.
• Attend staff meetings called by the principal or athletic director.
• Serve as a positive influence for student athletes.
• Ensure the safety of student athletes and report injuries to appropriate staff.
• All other duties as assigned.

Job description

The middle school head coach is responsible for the athletic team. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Responsiblity for the coaching duties.
• Attend staff meetings called by the principal or athletic director
• Serves as a postive influence to the student athletes
• Ensures the safety of the student athletes and reports injuries to appropriate staff
• All other duties as assigned

We already have one head coach, and are looking to hire a second coach. This would mean that the stipend would be split between the two coaches.
