Job Description

Athletic Director, Band Director, Head Coach, Principal, Activity/Club Sponsor.

For sports applicants - demonstrate knowledge of the sport to be coached. Assist the head coach in helping each participant achieve a high level of skill, an appreciation for the values of discipline and sportsmanship, and an increased level of self-esteem. Work with the head coach in organizing practice.

For band applicants - demonstrate knowledge of music and assist the Band Director in helping each participant achieve a high level of skill, an appreciation for the values of discipline and an increased level of self-esteem. Work with the Band Director regarding practice schedules.

For Activity/Club Sponsor applicants - demonstrate knowledge of the activity/club that you wish to be part of. Help each participant achieve a high level of skill, appreciation for the values of discipline and an increased level of self-esteem. Schedule practice/rehearsal.

Perform other relevant duties as assigned.

For this type of employment , state law requires a national and state criminal history background check and a letter, provided by the individual, from the Cabinet for Health and Family Services stating the employee is clear to hire based on no findings of substantiated child abuse or neglect found through a background check of child abuse and neglect records maintained by the Cabinet and Family Services as a condition of employment.
