Job Description

Assistant Volleyball Coach – Riverside High School

This position is for the 2026-2027 School Year beginning August 2026. Various activities, planning, and interactions will take place prior to the official fall season in August. The role is part of Riverside High School’s 2A OSAA Athletic Program.

Riverside High School is the newest comprehensive high school in the West Linn‑Wilsonville School District and is a school of choice for students within the district.

Responsibilities
  • Recruit student-athletes into the program.
  • Develop and implement an off‑season program for athletics.
  • Advocate for multi‑sport athletes and provide regular communication with parents/families.
  • Track the academic progress of all student‑athletes and facilitate necessary supports to ensure eligibility.
  • Collaborate with other athletic programs to provide off season/summer opportunities.
  • Encourage athletes to compete in other school‑sponsored sports.
  • Hold all student athletes and coaching staff to high expectations.
  • Help develop the youth program below 9th grade level.
  • Work with local media as needed and establish strong relationships with community support groups.

Job Type and Compensation
