Job summary

Utica Community Schools is seeking an 8th Grade Girls Basketball Coach at Jeannette Junior High in Sterling Heights, Michigan. The coach will operate the program in accordance with district, building and MHSAA rules, with a focus on promoting internal candidates where appropriate.

Responsibilities include coordinating in-season and off-season activities, contributing to player development, and supporting the physical, emotional and academic growth of student athletes.

Qualifications

• Prior coaching experience required.
• CPR, concussion certification and AED training required.
• Possess strong character and the ability to build relationships with team members and parents.
• Willingness and desire to participate in all aspects of program development.
• Valid State of Michigan Teacher’s Certificate preferred.
