CTR Cryo, part of the TransTech Group portfolio, seeks a dependable CO₂ Tank Repair Shop Technician in Montgomery, TX to inspect, service, repair, and prepare cylinders for safe return to service. The role involves hands-on work with compressed-gas cylinders, valves, regulators, and related components, following safety procedures and company guidelines.

The ideal candidate is safety-minded, mechanical, able to use hand and power tools, and eager to learn industry requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to safely operate common hand and power tools.
• Ability to read work instructions, equipment specifications, safety info, and inspection procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Inspect CO₂ cylinders for visible damage, wear, or contamination.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble cylinder valves and components as allowed.
• Replace valves, seals, fittings, and other serviceable parts.
• Prepare cylinders for repair, testing, painting, labeling, or return to service.
• Perform leak checks and post-repair inspections.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and repairs.
