Apple Montessori Schools in Edgewater, NJ seeks a dedicated Co-Teacher Preschool to join our Montessori classroom. You will collaborate with the Head Teacher on curriculum, lesson planning, and parent communications while helping each child grow.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in early childhood education or AA in a similar field with required credits or CDA.
• Montessori experience preferred.
• NAMC certification preferred or willing to obtain within the first year of employment.
• Ability to communicate with parents effectively and professionally.
• Experience with lesson planning and development.
• Ability to multitask and function in a changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that all students enjoy a safe and enjoyable learning environment.
• Collaborating with the Head Teacher in the areas of curriculum, lesson planning, and parent communication.
• Working closely with students to foster individual success plans and maintaining accurate records.
• Learn how to effectively demonstrate Montessori materials and philosophy.
• Collaborating with teaching staff to plan school events and prepare curriculum.
• Participating in staff development activities, educational trainings, and mentorship programs.

Hours: Monday to Friday: 10:30 am - 6:30 pm

Requirements

Final compensation is determined based on a combination of factors, including years of experience in a similar role, relevant certifications and/or credentials, and the size and/or geographic location of the school.

$36,000 - $43,000 / year
