Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse (RN) Acute Care/Med-Surg Adult is responsible for providing the highest degree of quality nursing care to patients. The nurse will use their specialized knowledge and expertise related to critical disease states to plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate patient care, utilizing the nursing process.
• Shift: 12-hour day shift with weekend rotation; must agree to be in the call rotation and take 1 call shift per 2-week period (following VV pay schedule) in place of guaranteed hours that week if requested due to staffing needs.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Acute Care/Med-Surg/Telemetry or similar RN experience (required).
• Licenses/Certifications: Current Colorado RN license; current BLS issued by the American Heart Association; Flu vaccine (mandatory) – no declinations accepted; vaccination must be from this flu season (Oct 1 to Apr 1).
