Job summary

Schaeffler is seeking a Cooperative Education Student for the Thermal Management Systems Engineering team in Troy, MI. You will support ongoing design and development initiatives while gaining exposure to engineering and manufacturing processes.

This co-op provides meaningful professional development through hands-on projects, meetings, and benchmarking activities, with opportunities to contribute to coolant and refrigerant system projects. A GPA of 2.5 or higher is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum cumulative GPA 2.5.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Prior experience in automotive coolant & refrigerant systems preferred.
• External applicants must be authorized to work in the US without VISA sponsorship.

Your Key Responsibilities
