Job summary

Philips in Orange, Ohio is seeking a Software Test Automation Engineer Co‑op for a paid program. You will join the Imaging CT team, gaining hands‑on experience across test automation, infrastructure optimization, and CI processes while collaborating with DevOps, imaging physics, and algorithm development engineers.

You’ll help expand automated tests, validate software tools, and contribute to a robust testing framework to enable faster feature delivery.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
• Experience or interest in test automation and DevOps practices is desired.
• Basic understanding of source control (GitHub) and agile development processes.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and document verification activities to ensure system quality.
• Support integration and test setup for Pinecrest bays.
• Participate in defect triage and investigation for CIRS and physics topics.
• Improve nightly test coverage by adding automated tests and new image quality tests.
• Collaborate with DevOps to build automation/analysis tools and data mining from field data.
• Support software tool validation and software updates for stability.
