What You'll Help Us Keep Climbing (Overview & Key Responsibilities)

The Delta Human Resources Project and Process Quality team is seeking a co-op student to support a large enterprise project while also managing smaller projects independently from planning through execution. This role is designed for someone who wants hands-on experience across both program management and product management in a fast-moving, cross-functional environment.

The co-op will work closely with experienced leaders to support planning, execution, requirements work, stakeholder coordination, and delivery follow-through. In addition to contributing to a large, high-visibility enterprise effort, this person will also have opportunities to take ownership of smaller projects in full, building both range and depth through the experience.

What You’ll Do
  • Support program and product management work across a large enterprise initiative
  • Independently manage smaller projects with guidance from experienced leaders
  • Help coordinate work across HR, IT, development teams, and other business partners
  • Support requirements gathering, documentation, and refinement for evolving workstreams
  • Help translate business needs into clear, organized materials that support delivery teams
  • Assist with backlog, task, and action tracking to keep work visible and moving forward
  • Build and maintain project plans, trackers, meeting notes, and follow-up actions
  • Prepare slides, status updates, and materials for working sessions and leadership discussions
  • Track decisions, dependencies, risks, and next steps across multiple efforts
  • Contribute to process improvement and employee experience enhancements tied to HR transformation work
What You’ll Gain
  • Hands-on experience supporting a large enterprise project inside a complex organization
  • Exposure to both program management and product management ways of working
  • Experience working directly with cross-functional partners, including development teams and business stakeholders
  • Opportunities to build skills in requirements work, delivery coordination, stakeholder communication, and project execution
  • Ownership of smaller projects that can strengthen confidence and judgment over time
  • A better understanding of how large-scale transformation work is scoped, organized, and delivered
What You Need To Succeed (Minimum Qualifications)
  • Must be enrolled as a full-time student pursuing an undergraduate degree in a 4-year academic institution
