Landis+Gyr in Lafayette, IN invites undergraduate students to join its General Engineering Lab Rotation Co-op. The program blends academic study with hands-on work on site, with rotations in testing and automation.

Three rotations begin January 2027, each involving about 40 hours per week on-site. Eligible candidates are undergraduates graduating in 2028 or later, pursuing engineering or related fields.

Qualifications

• Engineering, Engineering Technology, Applied Physics, Computer Science, Data Science or related major required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Compliance Testing and Applications activities.
• Support data collection, evaluation and analysis for test programs.
• Participate in test equipment calibration and certification tasks.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects focused on test system design and automation.

The Landis+Gyr Co-op program is designed to enhance the quality and scope of learning by providing students with the option of integrating academic study with related, work-based learning. Applicants must be enrolled in the undergraduate program and available to commit to a rotating 3-semester schedule alternating work semesters with school semesters so expected graduation date should be 2028 or later to have enough time to work those 3 semesters before graduating. This first rotation begins January 2027 - the student will be working on site Monday through Friday approximately 40 hoursper week in Lafayette, Indiana. This is a paid position but we don't offer housing assistance so candidates local to the Lafayette, IN area are preferred. Masters level students will not be considered.

Required Experience:

Co-op applicants must be undergraduate students with an expected graduation date of 2028 or later. Engineering, Engineering Technology, Applied Physics, Computer Science, Data Science or other relevant major required.
