Job summary

EOSYS in Smyrna, TN offers a NEXT Engineer Co-op program starting Spring 2026. You will work on real projects with experienced engineers, gain formal training, and benefit from our mentor network. Housing is provided during work sessions, and compensation increases with progression.

Applicants must be enrolled in a 4-year engineering degree and maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA, with full-time enrollment during co-op. Authorization to work in the U.S. is required and visas are not offered.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a 4-year engineering degree program (Electrical, Computer, Chemical or similar).
• Minimum 3.0 overall GPA; transcript uploaded with application.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available.
• Full-time academic enrollment during co-op seasons.
• Successful completion of entry-level engineering coursework and references checks.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design, construction, testing, implementation and documentation of basic industrial control systems.
• Assist manufacturing operations with hand/power tools and assembly tasks.
• Support field operations including surveys, installation, checkout and standby support.
• Learn CAD, hardware/software design techniques and testing methods.
