Job summary

HNTB is seeking a current or former intern to assist engineering teams with basic tasks across multiple projects. You will learn by supporting research, drawings, and document preparation under supervision, gaining hands-on experience in real-world infrastructure work.

This internship is designed for candidates already enrolled in an accredited post-secondary engineering program and who have completed at least two years of study. Visa sponsorship not available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary engineering program.
• Basic understanding of engineering, geometry, and algebra.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Able to follow directions from peers and supervisors.
• Capable of basic engineering calculations.
• Able to organize information for drawings and documents.

Responsibilities

• Assists engineer teams in various tasks and duties.
• Assists Engineer with research, development and design of projects.
• Assists Engineer with the preparation of engineering drawings and documents.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
