Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; 1–2 years of professional experience in higher education, career services, HR, or related field preferred.
  • Experience advising, coaching, or facilitating in one-on-one or group settings.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and professional communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams) and Google Suite.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate across multiple departments and colleges.

Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one and group co-op advising for CSSH and Bouvé students.
  • Conduct resume reviews and mock interviews; provide status updates to Co-op Faculty.
  • Coordinate outreach and check-ins with students during co-op experiences; escalate as needed.
  • Guide students pursuing self-developed co-ops, including vetting, approval, and registration.
  • Support global co-op opportunities with the Office of Global Services on visa and employment authorization.
  • Administer the Career Peer Advisor program: recruiting, training, scheduling, and ongoing support.
