Job summary

Schneider Electric’s Digital Energy Software Technology Office seeks an Application Engineer in the Solutions Lab for a 6-month internship (January 2027–July 2027). You will analyze customer architectures, develop and validate solutions, and collaborate on documentation and training plans.

You will demo solutions to customers and work closely with senior engineers in a lab setting. You will gain exposure to Schneider products across energy management, with focus on sustainable solutions, and

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Strong presentation and communication skills; able to demonstrate solutions in a lab environment.
• Strong development, analytical, troubleshooting, and project management skills.
• Knowledge of alternative energy sources (wind, solar) and power metering/energy usage.
• Located in greater Andover, MA area and authorized to work in the United States.
• Sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Analyze Customer Solutions Architecture and existing products for pragmatic solutions.
• Develop and validate proposed solutions for Solution Lab.
• Contribute and review documentation for TVDA/Solution/Integration Guides.
• Plan and execute a Train the Trainer on solutions.
• Familiarize with Schneider Electric Lines of Business current solutions.
• Gain knowledge of industry trends and solutions.
• Maintain, modify and build solutions installations for demonstrations in the CTO Lab.
• Provide demonstrations of solutions to visiting customers.
• Collaborate with experienced engineers in a lab setting.
