Job summary

Amgen in Cambridge, MA, seeks an Undergraduate Co-op in Drug Substance Technologies Synthetics to apply chemical engineering and organic chemistry for API manufacture from early to late-stage development.

The six-month program offers exposure to process scale-up, interaction with scientists and engineers, and relocation support for eligible candidates. Applicants must be enrolled in a full-time bachelor’s program and located in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a full-time Bachelor's degree program with a 3.0 GPA minimum.
• One year of study completed before the co-op starts.
• Located in the United States for the duration of the co-op.

Responsibilities

• Apply synthetic organic chemistry and chemical engineering to deliver robust processes for APIs.
• Learn scale-up of small-molecule intermediates and APIs during development to manufacturing.
