San Mateo County Parks is seeking a part-time Interpretive Specialist Intern to support the Interpretive Division in environmental education and community engagement. You will help plan and co-lead programs, create interpretive content, and assist with department materials and social media content.

The ideal candidate demonstrates enthusiasm for the environment, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Formación

• Experience in environmental education or outreach is preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication in public settings.
• Ability to work flexible hours including Saturdays.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Remote work capability for portions of the role.

Responsabilidades

• Organizing and co-leading programs/events for the general public
• Creating interpretive materials and content for the Department
• Other duties as assigned
