Job summary

AMN Healthcare seeks a physician or senior laboratory leader to serve as Co Director of the IU Genetic Testing Laboratories within the IU School of Medicine. The role guides operations, strategy, and growth across clinical diagnostics and genomics in a dynamic academic health system.

The ideal candidate is board-certified or board-eligible MD, MD/PhD, or PhD with molecular genetics/cytogenetics expertise and proven leadership in a clinical laboratory setting.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in a relevant medical or scientific field.
• Experience in molecular genetics, cytogenetics, and/or clinical laboratory leadership.
• Experience in academic health systems and program growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead operations, strategy, and direction of IU Genetic Testing Laboratories.
• Drive test development, expansion, and implementation with clinical partners.
• Collaborate with health system stakeholders to navigate billing and approvals.
