Job summary

Erias Ventures is seeking a motivated Software Test Engineer to join our growing team in Fort Meade, MD. You will support mission-critical software, develop test plans and procedures, perform data analysis, and report on release readiness.

A current Top-Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph is required. Seven years of test engineering experience, a BS in computer science or related field, and hands-on skills with C/C++, Python, Git/GitLab/Jenkins, and embedded systems in an Agile environment are

Qualifications

• Seven (7) years experience as a Test Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Four (4) years of additional TE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Develop test plans and procedures for software testing, including integration/execution, detailed data analysis, and preparation of software test reports.
• Programming background in C/C++ and Python.
• Experience with Git, GitLab, and Jenkins.
• Knowledge of embedded systems architectures and test experience using embedded systems.
• Experience working in an Agile environment, Agile Development/Agile Process Experience.
• Demonstrated experience developing or specifying standards, methods, or procedures to determine product quality or release readiness.
• Demonstrated experience regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, or usability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build consensus among peers while building solid relationships with team members.
• Demonstrated experience using automated testing tools.

Description

Clearance

A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.
