Job summary

Nightwing CODEX is seeking a software developer to design, develop, and maintain CNO capabilities using Python, C++, and Java across Windows and Linux environments. The role includes mentoring junior developers and participating in design reviews to deliver robust tools for national security missions.

The position requires 5–7 years of relevant experience, strong knowledge of network protocols, OS internals, and modern software engineering practices.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience programming in C/C++ or similar and Python
• In-depth understanding of network protocols
• In-depth understanding of OS internals
• Familiarity with IDA Pro or Ghidra preferred
• Knowledge of software security concepts (ASLR/DEP)
• Experience with multiple architectures (ARM, RISC, PPC)
• Bachelor's in computer engineering, CS, or related field

• End-to-end design, development, and testing of the developed software
• Mentor and lead junior developers
• Participate in design meetings and code reviews
• Collaborate with customers and other developers to solve problems and communicate requirements
