Nightwing Group is seeking a CNO Developer for an onsite role in Annapolis Junction, MD. The candidate will design, prototype, develop, and test CNO capabilities to address mission objectives, performing hands-on development and contributing to capability enhancements to ensure operational performance.

Required qualifications include a TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly, 5+ years on Windows/.NET or UNIX, and experience with C/C++, Python, and assembly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and four or more years of relevant experience.
• Six or more years programming in Assembly, C, C++, Java, Perl, or Python.
• Five years developing on Windows with Visual Studio/.NET or UNIX with makefiles.
• Two+ years of programming CNO tools for the US Government.
• Two+ years of programming techniques to evade host and/or network IDS.
• Two+ years developing packet-level programs and network sockets.

They will perform hands-on development and contribute to capability enhancements, ensuring tools meet operational performance standards.**Required Qualifications:*** Bachelor's degree and four (4) years’ experience or minimum eight (8) years’ experience in relevant field* Minimum six (6) years’ experience programming in Assembly, C, C++, Java, Perl, and/or Python* Minimum five (5) years’ experience developing in one (1) or more of the following: Windows applications using Visual Studio or .NET environments; UNIX applications using make files or comparable build environments; mission-applicable platforms* Minimum four (4) years of experience with programming CNO tools and techniques* Minimum two (2) years of experience programming CNO tools for the US Government* Minimum two (2) years of experience programming techniques to evade host and or network-based IDS* Minimum two (2) years of experience developing packet-level programs* Minimum two (2) years of experience in network sockets programming**Specialized Qualifications:*** Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C/C++, and/or Assembly, along with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell)* Understanding of operating systems internals* Expertise in exploitation techniques, including buffer overflows, heap spraying, privilege escalation, and more* Knowledge of modern encryption protocols, defense evasion strategies, and network interception* Understanding of network protocols and sockets, common CNO techniques, exploitation mitigations such as DEP and ASLR, and modern software engineering concepts* Experience with reverse engineering frameworks (e.g., IDA Pro, Ghidra, OllyDbg) and disassemblers/debuggers* Experience with project management best practices such as Scrum and Kanban methodologies* Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) along with understanding of basic configuration management principles**The salary associated with this position** **$77,000-$163,000** **is commensurate with the selected candidate’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, and demonstrated level of expertise.
