Job summary

Core4ce seeks a skilled CNO Developer to join our Hanover, MD team, supporting mission-critical operations and advanced cyber initiatives for national security. You will design and build capable software-and-hardware solutions, performing full development cycles from concept through testing and documentation.

Applicants should have TS/SCI with Polygraph, a strong programming background in Python or C/C++, and proven troubleshooting skills.

Core4ce is seeking a skilled and mission-focusedCNO Developerto join our team in Hanover, MD. In this role, you will support the development of mission‑critical offensive cyber capabilities and contribute to advanced Computer Network Operations (CNO) initiatives. You will work alongside a highly technical team to build next‑generation solutions that support national security missions.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop new hardware- or software-based Computer Network Operations (CNO) capabilities.
• Perform design, development, documentation, testing, and debugging of software applications and systems.
• Apply knowledge of networking and security concepts to support capability development.
• Communicate technical progress, project status, and risks to leadership and stakeholders.
• Ensure software quality and adherence to development standards.

*This position is designed to be flexible, with responsibilities evolving to meet business needs and enable individual growth.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must possess a current and activeTS/SCI with Polygraph.
• One of the following education/experience combinations:
• Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of technical work experience
• Master’s degree and 2+ years of technical work experience
• High school diploma and 8+ years of technical work experience
• Experience programming inPythonorC/C++.
• Experience with troubleshooting and debugging.
• Must be willing and able to obtain an additional polygraph prior to start, if required.
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with networking protocols, includingTCP/IP, and socket-level programming.
• Experience developingCNO capabilities.
• Experience with low-level system internals across one or more platforms, such as:
• Windows, Unix, Mobile, Network devices
• Experience in software analysis or reverse engineering.
• Experience using Atlassian tools, including:
• JIRA, Confluence, Crucible
• Understanding of assembly language programming concepts.
• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks and software testing best practices.
