Job summary

Set of X is seeking software engineers to support government contracting initiatives with TS/SCI clearance. Roles span Windows, UNIX, embedded and mobile development, requiring strong coding skills and participation in design and readiness reviews.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline; substitution allows 12 years total experience.
  • Experience in software development across Windows, UNIX, embedded or mobile platforms is expected.
  • Proven ability to participate in design, code, and software readiness reviews as per government procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Program in Assembly, C, C++, Java, Perl, or Python.
  • Develop Windows applications using Visual Studio or .NET environments; UNIX apps using makefiles or equivalent; embedded/mobile development with relevant toolchains.
  • Document and participate in technical reviews and software readiness assessments.
  • Design and develop end-to-end data flow for CNO tools.
  • Produce documentation and present technical work on assigned projects.
  • Lead and contribute to the development of new CNO solutions meeting customer needs.
  • Collaborate on end-to-end data flow and tasking for CNO tools.
  • Actively participate and direct development of new CNO solutions to meet customer demands.

Responsibilities:
  • Program in Assembly, C, C++, Java, Perl, or Python
  • Develop Windows applications using Visual Studio or .NETenvironments; UNIX applications using make files or comparable buildenvironments; or, Embedded or mobile platform development using proprietary,GOTS, or open source build environments
  • Provide/author documentation, participate in design, code, and softwarereadiness reviews as prescribed by the Government's software developmentprocedures and processes
  • Design and develop end-to-end data flow and tasking for CNO tools developed
  • Provide/author documentation, design, code, and software readiness reviews as prescribed by the Government's software development procedures and processes
  • Provide/author and participate in technical presentations on assigned projects
  • Actively participate and direct the design and development of end-to-end data flow and tasking for CNO tools developed
  • Actively participate and lead/direct the development of new CNOsolutions that meet the demands of customers

Requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., computer science,information systems, and network engineering) from an accredited college oruniversity. In lieu of a Bachelor's Degree, an additional four (4) years of relevant experience in the field may be substituted for a total of 12 years.
Eight (8) years of relevant experience in the field (e.g., computer science,information systems, and network engineering). A Master's degree in a relevantdiscipline may be substituted for two (2) years of experience, reducing the requirement to six (6) years of relevant experience

Clearance:

TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
