Job summary

Waco Family Medicine seeks a full-time Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to provide comprehensive well-woman and gynecological care within a team-based setting. You will care for pregnant patients through coordination with family physicians and obstetricians, in outpatient clinics and intrapartum hospital care.

The role emphasizes education for residents, ongoing community outreach, and collaborative practice with a focus on serving underserved populations in the Heart of Texas.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing or higher is required.
• Certification/Licensure in nursing and midwifery in Texas.
• Minimum of 3 years’ related experience in duties described.

Responsibilities

• Provide 36 hours of patient care weekly in outpatient clinic and hospital intrapartum care.
• No call required for this position.
• Educate residents and participate in community outreach activities.
• Maintain full privileges for practice of midwifery at Waco Family Medicine.
• Collaborate with family medicine physicians, residents and obstetricians/gynecologists.
