Job summary

Ohio State University in Powell, OH is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join the University Hospital outpatient team. The role focuses on OB/GYN, health promotion, and preventive care across the lifespan of individuals assigned female.

The CNM will provide care in antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum settings, collaborate with physicians, educate patients and families, and refer appropriately to community resources when needed.

Qualifications

• Current certificate of authority to practice as an APRN-CNM in Ohio.
• Graduate of an ACME Certified Nurse Midwifery program.
• Master of Science in Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide acute and chronic care in OB/GYN in collaboration with a physician.
• Educate and counsel individuals and families on health promotion and prevention.
• Manage obstetric care including antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum.
• Refer to other providers as appropriate and coordinate with the care team.
