Job summary

Fairview Health Services is seeking a compassionate Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join a collaborative team for full-scope midwifery care across the reproductive lifespan.

The 0.9 FTE position supports 18–22 patient encounters per day, with 28 births per month on an established team of 7 CNMs. The role includes prenatal and postpartum care, gynecologic and preventive services, and opportunities for waterbirth and hydrotherapy.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and ACNM accredited nurse midwife educational program.
• Certified Nurse Midwife certified through ACNM/AMCB.
• MN Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• Current DEA license.

Responsibilities

• Assess health status of women arriving at appropriate diagnosis(es) using advanced practice knowledge and skills.
• Performs comprehensive health assessment including exam and history.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic results and manages health screening and promotion for women.
