Care New England is seeking an Outpatient Infusion Nurse Practitioner for the Women & Infants Hospital in coastal Rhode Island. The role focuses on oncology and gynecologic cancer care within an established breast health group and infusion center.

The successful candidate will be Board Certified NP with 1+ years in oncology or related fields, RI APRN license (or eligibility), and experience with chemotherapy administration and toxicities. EPIC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner.
• 1+ years of clinical experience in oncology, women’s health, or surgical care preferred.
• Rhode Island APRN license (or eligibility).
• Experience with chemotherapy administration and managing toxicities.

Responsibilities

• Respond to clinical queries from the team and patients.
• Perform patient assessment and monitoring during treatment.
• Administer chemotherapy and adjust dosing as indicated.
• Monitor for adverse reactions and intervene as needed.
• Educate patients and families about treatment and side effects.

Opportunity Highlights

• Join an established multispecialty breast health group, specializing in breast and gynecologic oncology care; prior medical oncology experience preferred
• Schedule: Monday – Friday days; no call
• Core responsibilities of Infusion Center provider include responding to clinical queries, patient assessment and monitoring, medication dosing, monitoring for adverse reactions, and providing education throughout treatment.

What We’re Looking For:

• Board Certified NursePractitioner
• 1+ years of clinical experience in oncology, women’s health, or surgical care preferred
• Rhode Island APRN license (or eligibility)
• Candidate will have experience with chemotherapy administration and responding to toxicities related to treatment.
• Candidate will be able to assess patient readiness for chemotherapy and address clinical issues that may arise related to or independent of patient treatment
